Green Valley Elementary has been in the heart of the rescue community for over 40 years. Our daily Gator Gathering, led by the school's active student leadership club, and monthly character assemblies speak to the unique way Green Valley has fostered a culture of positivity. Deeply invested staff members, active parent organization and wonderfully diverse student body contribute to a close-knit yet welcoming community that many consider to be like a family. Green Valley has a beautiful, large library and a bilingual staff. The school's counseling program offers support for its continued focus on social and emotional learning. On any given day, one of the school's counselors can be seen visiting classrooms with his guitar. Green Valley hosts many special events throughout the year including its annual Reading Carnival, Fall Festival and Winter Wonderland. Throughout the year, students can participate in multiple clubs, leadership opportunities, choir, dance classes and sports teams.
